When Kea start his first blog (in blogger) a year ago, he was so excited and keep going to tell other about his blog (spamming).

Mistake 1: Be an idiot.

According to research, people are more comfortable to read on paper rather than on screen. Human eyes are getting tire easily when read from screen. Shorten your article, make it simple and understandable. Long explanation will not help much, but may cut reading rate to half. Simplify your posts with simple and easy words. Make you own dictionary, or use an electronic dictionary to help you. Read more article posted by some senior blogger and learn the words or phrases they used. If you are serious in blogging, you must ready to learn from other (Kea is learning, although his English is poor). But, please learn smart.

Advice: Do not be an idiot! Learn from other.

Mistake 2: Share everything.

Some blogs try to share more that 10 scopes of knowledge, just intent to attract more readers from different interests. But, how you going to compete with those who emphasis on one scope and make it a very good blog? Don't ever think that you are "super intelligence" and know everything that other don't. Define your expertise, and share your personal knowledge or view on that scope.

Advice: Do not share everything. Share your expert !
